I remember， I remember 我憶起，我憶起The house where I was born那棟出生時的屋宇the little window where the sun 早晨，陽光從小窗中Came peeping in at morn偷望進去He never came a wink too soon他從不早來片刻Nor brought too long a day也不多留半晌But now， I often wish the night但是現在，我常願夜晚Had borne my breath away帶走我的呼吸

I remember，I remember我憶起，我憶起The roses，red and white玫瑰花開，有紅有白The vi‘lets，and the lily-cups紫羅蘭，百合Those flowers made of light那些由光輝構成的花朵The lilacs where the robin built有知更鳥築巢的紫丁香And where my brother set有哥哥生日時The laburnum on his birthday--種植的金煉花The tree is living yet依然常青

I remember，I remember我憶起，我憶起Where I was used to swing經常蕩秋千的地方and thought the air must rush as fresh迎面而來的風是如此清爽To swallows on the wing飛燕也頗有同感My spirit flew in feathers then昔日意氣揚揚的心靈That is so heavy now現在變得如此沉重And summer pools could hardly cool就是夏日的池水也無法冷卻The fever on my brow我額頭的熱狂
